New Life for a Leaky Shower

When Ali first reached out to us, the goal was simple — fix the damaged tile in the shower. Over time, the tile had started to buckle, and she was concerned about water leaks and the potential for mold.
She had been in her 1986 home since 2004, and the family bathroom had barely been touched beyond some paint and vinyl stick-on flooring. Now was the time to get things fixed and updated!
In order to prevent as much water damage as possible, Ali and her family got creative and set up a temporary protective plastic barrier along the inside of the shower. It gave them a level of assurance from potential leaks, but it was by no means a long term solution.
In addition to fixing the shower, they decided on adding the following updates to the project scope:

Before construction began, we worked with Ali to choose all the materials that went into her remodel. Then, we put it all in a mood board so she could see how everything fit together.
For her shower walls, she chose to go with Onyx wall panels in Aquastone. This shower panel system was appealing to her because it assured her she would no longer have to worry about grout joints staining or wearing down over time.

Ali’s bathroom is now fresh, clean, and effortless to maintain. We loved being able to provide her with peace of mind when using the shower, and turning this once-problematic and out dated space into a place she can enjoy every day.
